The Lung Sound Monitor was developed by Thora Tech for the company\n L\u00f6wenstein Medical SE & Co. KG<\/a>and is marketed there under the name\n LEOSound.<\/a> \n
<\/p>\n

LEOSound is an innovative, clinically validated Diagnostic System for the quantitative and objective recording of cough and wheezing events over a period of up to 24 hours.<\/p>\n

For the first time, this offers the possibility to record, replay and automatically analyze Breathing Sounds and Coughs in a long-term Procedure.<\/p>\n

Changes in normal Lung Sounds are an important indicator of pathological Processes in the Bronchial System and Lungs. To clarify unclear Symptoms such as shortness of Breath, wheezing and coughing, a qualitative and quantitative long-term Recording of Lung sounds can be useful. <\/p>\n

Thanks to the simple handling, an objective symptom clarification for the Diagnosis and Therapy of bronchial Asthma is also possible without any problems in the pediatric field.<\/p>\n

In addition, LEOSound enables progress monitoring of drug treatments, for example of asthmatic Children and Adults. <\/p>\n
